I graduated from Skidmore College in 2002 with a BS in music.  Since then, I've been teaching, performing, writing, and recording.  I studied Jazz and composition in college with a particular focus on guitar and percussion.  I perform solo (www.zaktrojano.com), with my band Rusty Belle, and also as a sideman for Chris Smither, Jeffrey Foucault, Peter Mulvey, Kris Delmhorst, and many others.   I come from a family of teachers and musicians, and thoroughly enjoy passing along what I've learned to anyone who is interested.
